Shipping policy:
At Kind Walks, we are committed to delivering your order as quickly and reliably as possible. This Shipping Policy describes our procedures, timeframes, and costs for all orders delivered within Canada. Sales are subject to the applicable federal, provincial, and territorial consumer protection laws of Canada.
1. Free Shipping Throughout Canada
We are pleased to offer free standard shipping on all orders delivered within Canada. There is no minimum order value and Kind Walks does not add hidden handling or processing fees. The amount displayed at checkout is the amount charged by Kind Walks. Import duties, taxes, brokerage fees, or other charges imposed by Canadian authorities or a carrier may apply separately as described in section 6.
2. Shipping Destinations
We ship exclusively to residential and commercial street addresses within all Canadian provinces and territories. At this time, we do not ship to:
- International addresses outside Canada;
- PO boxes or poste restante/general-delivery addresses; or
- Parcel-forwarding services or third-party logistics hubs.
3. Order Processing and Preparation
All orders are processed and prepared for shipment within 1-3 business days, Monday to Friday, excluding applicable public holidays observed by Kind Walks, our fulfilment partners, or the carrier.
Orders may be placed at any time. Orders placed outside our business hours begin processing on the next business day.
Confirmation: You will receive an order-confirmation email after your purchase, followed by a shipping-confirmation email with tracking details as soon as your order has been dispatched.
4. Estimated Delivery Times
We work with international and local fulfilment and delivery partners. Products may be dispatched directly from a fulfilment partner or supplier in China. Please allow for the following estimated timeframes:
1) Processing time: 1-3 business days for order confirmation, preparation, quality checks, and packing.
2) Delivery time: 5-15 business days from dispatch, depending on the delivery location, customs processing, and carrier operations.
The total estimated timeframe is therefore 6-20 business days from the order date.
Note: Delivery times are estimates and may vary because of urban or rural delivery conditions, customs processing, severe weather, peak periods, carrier disruption, public holidays, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
5. Order Tracking
Once your order has shipped, we will send a shipping-confirmation email containing a tracking number and a link to monitor your parcel. Please allow 24-48 hours for tracking information to update after the email is sent. You can also track your order through the Order Tracking page on www.kindwalks.com. 6. Customs, Duties, and Taxes
Orders may be dispatched from China or another international fulfilment location and may be subject to customs clearance in Canada.
Unless Kind Walks expressly confirms otherwise at checkout, the customer is responsible for any applicable import duties, GST/HST, provincial sales taxes, customs charges, brokerage fees, handling fees, or other charges imposed by Canadian authorities or the carrier. These charges are not controlled by Kind Walks and are not included in the product price.
Your parcel may show an international origin on the shipping label. This is a standard part of our direct-to-consumer fulfilment model.
7. Delivery Issues and Damaged Items
Missing orders: If your order has not arrived within 15 business days after dispatch, please contact hello@kindwalks.com. We will investigate with the carrier and aim to provide an initial update within 24 business hours.
Item damaged on arrival: If your item arrives damaged, please photograph the product and the external and internal packaging and contact us as soon as possible, preferably within 7 days of delivery. We will assess the issue and arrange an appropriate remedy, such as a replacement or refund, at no additional cost where the item is confirmed to be damaged, defective, or incorrect. In many cases, a physical return will not be required. The 7-day notification request helps us investigate carrier damage and does not limit any mandatory consumer rights.
Incorrect address: Please ensure that your shipping address is complete and correct at checkout. Contact us immediately if you notice an error. We may be able to amend the address only if the order has not yet entered processing or shipment. Parcels generally cannot be redirected after dispatch. Additional costs caused by an incorrect or incomplete address may be charged to the customer to the extent permitted by law.
Terms of payment:
We offer the following payment options through Shopify Payments:
- Visa;
- Mastercard;
- American Express;
- Apple Pay; and
- Google Pay.
All prices and payments are processed in Canadian dollars (CAD), unless the checkout clearly states otherwise.
